Afo Clove Tree
Is the oldest clove tree in the world, with about 400 years old. The trunks has a very big diameters. It still produce more than 600 kg in one harvest time.
Cloves are native to Indonesia. This specific clove tree, also known as Cengkeh alo, is one of the oldest clove trees in the region, which approximately is 398 years of age. The tree has diameter of 198cms, and circled of 4.26 ms. This cengkeh alo is still productive until now and has capacity of producing 400kg cloves flowers annually. Cengkeh alo can be found at Kelurahan Mankutu, Central Ternate city.
